This is the typical stance of a home buyer in the birdhouse market. They fly in and land close and look over the house for a few minutes, generally it's the male. Then he'll go and look in the house a few times then fly off to find his mate, and bring her back to look at it. If she likes it, she'll plant herself cross ways to the hole and the male will fly off and collect some grass and come back and put it in the house.
