Make A Wish

Make a wish upon this rose
Whether it will come true
no one knows.

Be it for peace, or wealth and
personnel gain...
To end all poverty, strife, and pain,
to end the affliction of all types of cancer...
Will those wishes come true?
No one can answer.

I wish for all of these
and an end to wars, and disease.
I wish in the days after these wishes comes true,
we can still distinguish the differnce
between the two.

I wish we will remember the anguish and pain
so we will not need to live them again.

I have a belief, that in nature, that we are all in a school of sorts. We as a race are always learning, or at least should be. My greatest fear though for the future lies not in function. It lies in the thought that future generations will not know what past generations tried to avoid, or appreciate what past generations did indeed fix. It lies in the fear that there will be no negatives, and the positives will not be recognized for what they are.

This image is dedicated to $Moonbeam13 & *gimp and their walk this weekend in the effort to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research. Eventually It will come to pass that they will defeat this and many other cancers. Breast Cancer is devastating for the sufferer. Often times the treatment leaves the victim traumatized and disfigured. Please do what you can to help.
Should I get lucky and anyone decide to purchase this print, any profits will be donated to breast cancer research.
