Description

"Passionately Purple"
This is dedicated to my dear friend Kimmie, *MooMyFire for her birthday.:cake:

These lovely purple tulips reside in my neighbors yard, I'm trying to make sure to remember where they are just so maybe I can go dig a few up the next time she goes out of town!  I'm just kidding.

I was trying for a cross between the stark realism of the sharpness of the focus and the "dreamy" state treatment of the vignetting in this particular image.

Hi Bob!!!
How have you been? Hopefully VERY well and I also hope your trip was good for you and Alice :aww:!!

To avoid a thousand messages, I decided to comment on one work this time (soooo much to catch up ). I had my internet line fixed, so now it's not frustrating to connect for some minutes... Still have tons of work, but my energies are a bit better today.
Why I selected this one? Well, I absolutely fell in love with it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! :wow: I found them so AMAZING and so strange! And when I read they were tulips (my favorite flower) well... I couldn't believe it. Never saw "haired tulips" before!!! :omg::faint:

I had such a good time making full view of your works and reading your comments. The woodpecker is stunning, LOVE those beautiful colors and the amazing focus!!!
The squirrels and your comments about their having always one foot on the wire were cool :aww:... We have NO squirrels here, I saw one once, when I was living in Bogota, Colombia.
But that one was caged and I felt so sorry for it... squirrels belong to freedom!

The fairy in your garden is beautiful, too... I wonder how you painted the metal  Maybe with glass paint? Acrilics? Doesn't look like anything I saw before (the paint material, I mean) When I tried the full view of your "Oasis", it wouldn't work... :crying: I wanted a bigger image, can't see well at that size (specially with my tired eyes :aww:)

I don't think we have Irises here (or at least, I haven't seen them)... the Iris Show looks gorgeous, so many colors! Do they smell nice? :? And the texture of the other Iris is also gorgeous, it's always so amazing to look closer at things, we discover aspects of nature we might have never noticed otherwise!

About the pink bleeding hearts, I was speechless again, their form is unique!! If I was there looking at them, I would probably have examined them for a long time... Is the plant an ivy type, tree, bush ... ??? Extremely strange!!

I was delighted to find your Mom's Day dedication to us mom's... Thank you SO much :huggle:!!!

The landscape of the lake made me hungry (when I read the word "sandwiches")... it's almost 10 pm and I haven't had dinner yet

And another photo that made me smile and my heart jump in joy was the one of the toys "found" at your front door.... I loved both, but that Koala is so SWEET !!!! I also fell in love with it :icontardglompplz:

To end this loooooooong message, let me say that I'll try to be here more often. I need to change some things in here. I won't be able to read the past journals (sadly I have no time), but I'll be more selective (got to, or I'll get ).

Of course, you don't need to answer everything, ok ?.... I was so excited about the nice things in your gallery that I just thought it was better to send you ONE good comment than a thousand "how nice" ones !!:glomp::heart:
